Operator & Club FAQ

Learn how operators register, verify, and search for athletes on TalentLix.

What is TalentLix for clubs/operators?

TalentLix is a platform to discover athletes, filter profiles by sport criteria, unlock contact access when needed, and communicate with athletes through an internal messaging system.

Who can register as an operator?

Clubs and agencies (and their authorized representatives). During onboarding you choose your operator type (e.g., Club or Agent) because requirements can differ.

What do I need before I start?

Prepare: legal entity details (legal name, address, country), brand info (trade name, logo, website), a phone number that can receive SMS, and verification documents required for your operator type/country (responsible person ID/selfie and proof of authority/mandate where required).

How do I create an operator account?

Go to the operator registration page, enter email + password, and you will be routed into the operator onboarding wizard immediately.

How do I log in?

Use the operator login page. Routing depends on your status: Approved → operator dashboard. In review → in-review page. Incomplete / needs fixes → wizard.

I forgot my password — what do I do?

Use the operator “Forgot password” flow and reset using the email link you receive.

Why does TalentLix require operator verification?

Because athletes must be protected from fake accounts and misuse. Verification is the gate that allows full operator access.

What is the operator onboarding wizard?

A 4-step flow that collects organization data, verifies your phone, uploads required documents, and records privacy consent before submission.

What are the 4 onboarding steps?

Step 1 — Organization profile (entity data, website, logo, address). Step 2 — Contacts + phone verification. Step 3 — Documents (requirements depend on operator type/country). Step 4 — Privacy consent + submission for review.

What happens after submission?

Your request goes In Review. Then you get one of these outcomes: Approved → full dashboard access. Rejected / Needs more info → you will see reasons and must fix and resubmit.

Can I search athletes immediately?

Search access depends on your approval status. If you are not approved yet, access may be limited or blocked until verification passes.

How does athlete search work?

Search is designed as a two-stage flow: choose a sport (the platform checks that published athletes exist) and use filters to refine results (examples: role, age, gender, nationality, seeking-team status, representation, contract status).

What does “Published athlete” mean?

Only athletes who have published their profile are visible in operator search. Unpublished athletes are hidden.

What is the Wallet?

The wallet shows your credit balance and transactions. It is used to support platform actions that require credits (for example, unlocking athlete contact access, depending on your rules).

What does “unlock athlete contacts” mean?

Unlocking gives you access to contact details for an athlete you are interested in. Unlocks can have an expiry window and only appear while active.

How do I contact an athlete?

You can message athletes inside the platform. Messaging keeps all conversations centralized and trackable.

Why can’t I message or unlock an athlete?

Common reasons: your operator account is not approved, phone not verified, wallet has insufficient credits (if required for that action), athlete is unpublished, unlock expired (if the unlock has a time limit).

What are the most common reasons for verification rejection?

Missing required documents, mismatched identity or unclear scans, missing proof of authority/mandate where required, or incorrect operator type selected (club vs agent).
